Registration Process

Keeping things simple, you’ll pass through 6 quick steps to register your profile. After you enter your email, password and create a username, you’ll answer some basic info about your sexual orientation, location, etc. Then it’s on to the fun stuff where you answer open-ended and multiple-choice questions to express your interests and hobbies to help find matches with similar interests.

Profile Set-up

The majority of your profile is set up during the registration process. You’ll be prompted to create a personal bio, but you can skip that part and come back to it when you’re ready to create your profile. Write a bit about yourself, upload a photo, and you’re all set.

Notification Settings

It’s easy to customize your notification settings! Go to ‘Account Settings’ and choose which notifications you’d like to receive.

Messaging

Members are not limited to just sending messages, they can also send “flirts”, use the site’s phone feature to call or text message, and even send digital gifts. In order to partake in messaging members, you’ll need to subscribe to a paid membership account.

The website allows you to search for the right match and tally your crushes using the Blender. If you like someone, you can message them and send text or GIF. The best feature of the website is that it has a number of users, which means you don’t have to lower your standards. Not interested in someone who doesn’t like football? No problem. There is a large volume of users and there are high chances you’ll find someone who does.

OurTime will come up with 100 profiles every day that suit your preferences. It will show all profiles one by one and you can simply click on yes or no to be connected. The suggestions will include a photo and basic details and you can decide if you have a crush on them. It will also show you the number of interests that are common to both of you. The people you click yes for on the Blender will be added to your favourites.

Activities

Want to take online relations out into real life? Here’s your chance. OurTime will list some activities that are going on in your area. Just visit those events and you can find the other singles near your location. OurTime holds painting classes, weekend getaways, and many other such activities. Some of them are free while others are paid. You can reserve your place in these events by letting them know on time.

Great Search Features

It also shows the members that are currently online. That way you can start a new conversation with the members that are presently available. The search feature of the website lets you select a number of filters to find out the right partner living near your location.

OurTime also has apps for mobile platforms but the website performs better on the desktop instead of mobile.

Mandatory Photos

A member must upload a profile photo in order for their profile to show up in the member database.

Offline Contact

With OurTime’s feature called “ConnectMe”, members can call and text each other offline while keeping their phone numbers and contact information private.

Report a Profile

You can report users that display inappropriate conduct and the OurTime team will personally investigate.

Block Other Members

You can block members from contacting your and seeing your profile by editing your preferences in ‘my account’ under ‘blocked users’.

Hide Your Profile

Need a break but don’t want to completely delete your profile? You can hide your profile where it won’t be visible to others. During this time, you won’t have access to the site’s features.
