Registration process

Create your basic profile with a username, email, and password. Then comes the “match” part of Affiny, where you need to answer over 100 questions about your lifestyle, hobbies, interests, values, background, and psychological questions about your happiness, stability, and quirks. After the questions, you’ll be prompted to upload a photo and write a short description of yourself.

Profile set-up

The majority of your profile is set up during the registration process. You can add more photos and more information about yourself at your leisure.

Notification settings

It’s easy to customize your notification settings, which on Affiny are referred to as alerts. Simply select which notifications you’d like to receive by ticking and unticking boxes.

Approved photos

Your photos must meet Match.com’s photo criteria with guidelines such as no nudity, no animations, and no racism.

Messaging

Send and receive messages like you would on any other messaging platform. You can even send and receive one message before you sign up for a paid subscription.

Affiny is the ultimate matchmaker, connecting members based off of their personality compatibility.

Member search

There is no member search since Affiny delivers matches only.

All information collected during your questionnaire is kept strictly confidential. Your username allows anonymous contact between you and other members. Your email will never be seen by other members and photo visibility is your choice.
